We are giving you the chance to download and edit rushes from the international film TWO FISTS ONE HEART. This is the footage that editors work with and it is free for you to use under creative commons as long as you acknowledge the source and link back to the official movie page. We’ve tried to give you a mix of scenes so that you can even download all of them and put together a short film of your own.
You’ll see a bit of behind the scenes action in some of the rushes, as we thought it was a chance for a real look-in to what working on a professional movie set is like. The technical term for the footage you are working on is rushes and you’ll also notice the footage has a timecode - see the definitions below.
Rushes: Rushes are copies of the original images photographed for the film. They have not been colour graded. During filming, the director and some actors may view these rushes (sometimes called dailies) as an indication of how the filming and the actors’ performances are progressing.
Timecode: Electronic guide track added to film, video or audio material to provide a time reference for editing, synchronization, etc.

The best 5 scenes will be posted on Disney’s promotional TWO FISTS ONE HEART site. This is a great opportunity for some exposure to high-profile people in the film industry.
The 5 best scene cuts will be selected by Bill Russo head of Editing at the AFTRS and the creative team from TWO FISTS ONE HEART. TWO FISTS ONE HEART Director Shawn Seet, Editor Milena Romanin and Cinematogropher Hugh Miller are all graduates from AFTRS, Australia’s premiere Film and Television school.
Deadline for entries is April 20th.
WE HAVE EXTENDED THE COMPETITION
We had a lot of people relay to us that they would like to take part in the competition, but needed more time or had heard about it at the last minute. The WINNERS will be personally contacted by Bill Russo who will give them editing advice and help with their editing careers.
All you have to do to enter is post your video on YouTube, link to the Two Fists One Heart site for the movie in the info section and tag it TFOH, then email the link of your entry to competition@cutyourownscene.com
THAT SIMPLE.
NOTE: You are free to use the footage even if you don’t wish to enter the competition as long as you link back to the film’s promotional site.

Anthony and Theo go to Mick’s garage to get back the black Chevy that belongs to one of their mates. Mick starts a fight. The boys do well and steal back the Chevy.

A day at the beach following Anthony’s fight, when he won the Australian middleweight Boxing title . Theo wants to chase girls but Anthony is embarrassed by his battered appearance. He starts to question why he is a boxer.
